Face fabric — jacket and pants shell

• 100% polyester, 4-way stretch
• Target 155 GSM (±5%)
• Minimum 25% stretch warp and weft (target 25–30%)
• Full matte / non-shiny. Peach-skin or lightly brushed. Zero optical / UV brighteners
• DWR, PFC-free preferred. Must bead water on first sample
• Quiet, soft, non-rustling. No hard coating or noisy laminate
• FAULTLINE printed on matte base only

Hardware

• Main zippers: YKK #5 reverse-coil plastic (not metal), quiet, glove-friendly pulls
• Pocket zippers: same YKK #5 reverse-coil if used
• Leg pocket closures: durable plastic or metal buttons — one-hand / glove easy. No high-tension snaps
• Drawcords: soft, quiet, low-profile toggles
• Elastic: soft, quiet, matte

Testing

• Quietness: no audible rustle when moving arms or walking
• Stretch recovery after 25% elongation
• DWR: water beads and rolls after initial wash
• Warmth: active use in 40–50 °F over a base layer
• Grid fleece torso moves moisture — no clammy feel
• Camo must not fade or crack with flex; matte retained
